The ability to stay at home is increasing rapidly as new opportunities appear constantly. Positions from sales representative opportunities to customer service and more. Finding the stay at home career that suits you can be as easy as asking yourself three simple questions. What do I truly enjoy doing? What amount of money or what is my budget for this business? What resources and tools do I have at hand, that can be applied toward the business? Asking these three questions will allow you to narrow down which field or areas of home business would best suit your interests as well as your personal needs.
Job Enjoyment
If you do not enjoy the job field you are in, over time you will begin to regret your job choice. It will become displeasure to go to work each day. The dissatisfaction of your job will lead to a decline in attitude and personal happiness, which can affect your relationships with family and friends as well as co-workers. Your job performance will also lack due to this feeling of dissatisfaction. Allowing yourself to understand what areas of work or business you enjoy will allow you to enter a job position knowing that this is a career you can perform every day and it will not lead to total dissatisfaction. There are always days were we do not feel like going to work even if we are in a dream job, but an enjoyable position is a must for job longevity.
Business Budget And Income Levels
When entering into a home business you have to take the necessary time required to thoroughly study your budget and income needs. You need to have enough savings to live within the means required to pay your bills, purchase personal items such as food and any other needed items for a minimum of three months. This allows enough time for your business to become established and to provide a flow of income. You also have to understand the required amount of funds needed to begin your business. What is the cost of materials, advertising, web hosting and so on? You want to provide an adequate amount of funding for each area of your business thus allowing a sturdy base for your business to be built upon. The majority of home businesses fail within the first year often due to lack of budgeting.
Resources and Tools
You also have to take the time to consider what tools or resources that you may possibly already have on hand. Consider computers, Internet access and a home phone line. These items are generally already on hand and in use daily. With these three tools you can begin the majority of home businesses that are available.
Once you have the answer to each of these questions you will be able to make the most knowledgeable choice for your home business. This will allow you to begin your business by putting your best foot forward on solid ground. By taking the necessary time to prepare for your stay at home job, will ensure that your business can thrive and succeed.

Work from Home for Fun and Profit
Copyright © Grace Lee
More and more people are catching on to the wonderful opportunities that exist through the internet to make money being creative, selling junk they have lying around the house, and doing a myriad of other things that can bring in extra income. While few of these internet businesses will bring in enough cash to let you quit your day job, they are perfect if you would like a little more money to supplement your salary. Best of all, the range of internet based jobs is so vast, virtually anyone can find a business that caters to their talents and/or interests. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the more popular ways people are making more money from home.
The internet has created a demand for well written content. If you have always wanted to make money writing articles, this may be your chance to jump in and test the waters. Websites need a consistent flow of new content in order to rank well in the search engines and bring visitors back to their sites. They are willing to pay for this content, if you are willing to supply it. There are several ways to go about getting into this burgeoning industry. One way is to get an account at a
freelancer job board and browse the listings. Website owners will place job needs on these websites and freelancers will bid for the job. There are also specific content websites that allow you to post your content, and webmasters will then purchase it directly from the site itself.
If writing isn’t your thing, but you are creative-minded, you might give some of the T-Shirt and crafts websites a try. These websites let you use Photoshop to create designs and logos, which you can then sell on a variety of products, from coffee mugs to hats to shirts. These sites usually take the majority of each sale, but they are also covering the costs of production, so it’s only fair.
And then of course there are the auction sites. Plenty has been written about how to make money with these sites, to the point where a rehash would be superfluous and beyond the scope of this article. The best way to start is to simply find things around your own house that you no longer want or need. Instead of letting these things collect dust or throwing them out with the trash, list them at the auction sites and see what you can get out of them. You may be surprised. If you find
you like the process, read up on the selling strategies of those who have been successful and follow in kind.
The internet is constantly opening up new avenues for those who want to make money working from home. If you don’t like any of the existing models, nothing is stopping you from creating your own. The owners of eBay are making more than any seller, so if you have a great idea for a money making website, jump in with both feet and make it happen.

Direct Network Marketing Advertisement to Newsletter Subscribers
Copyright © Grace Lee
Do you know the number one reason why visitors to your website will not sign up for your free newsletter? They have been burnt before! Either their email address was abused for endless mailings, or the newsletter was so boring – usually because it was nothing more than one big ad directly cut and pasted from the advertisement brochures – that it was hardly worth their while to even read it only once.
Do direct network marketing advertisement to newsletter subscribers in small doses and do it carefully, judiciously, and respectfully. While some network marketers will outsource this aspect of the business, fledgling marketers will not have the resources for this step. Do not despair if this is you! Instead, take heart in the fact that it is incredibly easy to draft a well thought out newsletter, insert your product information, and make it so interesting that you will have consumers signing up for it even if initially they are not at all interested in your product or the company you are representing.
As you direct network marketing advertisement to newsletter subscribers, keep in mind that a reader of your newsletter is not reading it to be polite but because you are giving them something of value. Perhaps not surprisingly, the ads for your product or business are not the item of value they have in mind. Instead, the average reader will look for general content, such as gardening advice, cooking tips, exercise help, or even dog training tricks. Depending on the product you represent, ad text and general content can flow together seamlessly and actually support one another rather than being almost mutually exclusive.
The best tip for the fledgling marketer is to create a basic newsletter that has the business or product in mind but does not make reference to it in any way. You might design a trivia section, a word puzzle, a give away, and include a number of general content articles, poems, and other items. Stay away from politics and religion! Not only was mom right when she suggested not discussing these topics in polite company, but for the sake of marketing they can be the kiss of death if your readers are not on the same side of the political aisle or worship the same deity! Keep it neutral but informative.
Once your initial draft is complete, look for spots where you can include information about your business or product in such a way that it will flow naturally rather than being a contrived commercial break; after all, as you direct network marketing advertisement to the reader of your newsletter, you want to make the experience enjoyable and also valuable! Commercial breaks detract from value while integrated product information ads value!
In the same vein, those who may not like the idea of signing up for anything that requires an email address, design a special page for newsletter signups and include your privacy policy which unequivocally states your intent for the use of any information you are gathering during sign up. Similarly, post a sample newsletter for visitors to read. This will increase interest and may overcome the objection of those who may still be teetering on the fence whether or not to entrust you with their email information.

The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Print Marketing
Copyright © Grace Lee
When you run a business a lot of your focus will be on marketing. Three traditional methods that have been used by businesses for years include newspapers, magazines and the yellow pages. However, many businesses are starting to turn their attention towards internet and other forms of technological marketing. So some may wonder if there are still benefits to using these forms of print marketing.
When it comes to newspapers there are several advantages to consider. With newspapers you can reach a large group of people while also targeting a specific geographic area. Newspapers allow you to have flexibility in deciding what size ad you want to place and where you want it printed in the newspaper. This means you can make your ad as large as necessary in order to communicate what you are trying to sell.
You are not limited by your newspaper ad, readers can return to your message again and again so you can have continuous exposure. You will usually have free help from the newspaper in creating and producing your ad copy. Newspapers are adapting to the changing market conditions and offering quick turn-around. Therefore, running an ad today can result in customers viewing your ad within one to two days.
Magazines provide a way for businesses to have a more focused marketing option. However, it is also a more expensive alternative to the newspaper method of advertising. Businesses choose this method of marketing if they want to reach a highly targeted audience. By using magazines you can advertise to your audience through publications that focus on your specific audience or has topics of interest to your audience. Since you have a high reader involvement with the magazine you will have more attention placed on your advertisement. Magazine ads are better for color reproduction and full-color ads, this means that even small ads will stand out in a magazine.
The oldest tradition of print marketing is the yellow pages. Today there are several different forms of yellow pages that allow people to promote and advertise their business. In addition to the general yellow pages that the phone companies give out you can also use specialized directories that are targeted towards specific markets. There are even internet directors now that you can use for advertising your company.
With yellow page advertising you can have wide availability since nearly everyone will use the yellow pages at one time or another. It is a non-intrusive way of marketing. It is an action-oriented method of marketing since your audience will actually be looking for what you provide. Yellow page ads are reasonably inexpensive and your responsive can be easily tracked and measured. Finally, yellow page marketing offers increased frequency.

Setting Up a Work At Home Schedule
Copyright © Grace Lee
Working at home requires the ability to work independently and manage time properly. That is why developing a work at home schedule is one of the most important steps in getting a work at home job.
Some work at home jobs require a set schedule. Sometimes a company may require set work hours or they may require a person be available to work certain days of the week. When preparing to work at home a person needs to know their schedule of availability.
To develop a schedule of availability a person needs to consider all of their commitments. This also includes any housework or errands they may need to do. A schedule should be made out for each day of the week with the times available for work clearly outlined. Something else to consider is free time. Many times when working at home a person forgets to schedule time to be off work. This can lead to problems. It is important to develop a schedule without overloading yourself.
It may take some time to figure out a good work at home schedule. It can help to go through a week and mark down any free time. Sometimes a person may not be aware of just how many little blocks of free time they have. It may be possible to organize the day better to free up larger blocks of time for working. Making a schedule will also help a person recognize when they can not work because they are too busy. It may also lead them to see that they can not do some types of scheduled work at home jobs.
A person may find that sticking to a strict schedule is not something that will work for them. In this case they will be able to look for a job where they can develop their own schedule or work freely whenever it is convenient for them. A person may also find that they have a large chunk of free time that would be perfect for a work at home job with a strict schedule. It is hard to recognize just how time is used without making up a schedule, which is why making a work at home schedule makes a lot of sense.
Developing a work at home schedule is going to get a person prepared when filling out applications and when searching for the right type of work at home job for them. Having a schedule will also help out when telling friends and family when their working hours are so they are not interrupted while working.
A work at home schedule will help a person be more professional. It can also help prevent problems down the road with scheduling conflicts. Many people end up getting into a work at home job and then later realize that the schedule does not work for them. This is a very horrible mistake that can ruin your creditability as a good at home worker when other employers find out why you had to quit a previous job.

Start a Home Business for Nothing
Copyright © Grace Lee
Starting a home business does not have to cost a lot of money. It is a common misconception that people believe starting a home business is expensive, but with the internet that is not true. The internet has opened up new possibilities that make it easy to start a home business without spending a thing.
That is true, a person can start a home business without spending any money. All it takes is the ability to understand what it takes to get a business going and running without spending money.
One of the main things is choosing a service business. With a service business a person is not going to have an inventory they have to maintain or the upfront costs associated with that. Services are generally going to be free. One point to keep in mind is that the service should be something that can be done completely online, such as writing services or advice services. This will ensure it is something that can be done with no investment.
It is also important to network. Networking will draw in business and get the word out about the company. A person can easily network with those who may need their services. It works like word of mouth advertising. People talk and word gets around and before long a business is started.
There are a lot of free services that a person can use, as well. If they feel they must have a website then a free website can work. However, with a service business a person can usually use someone else’s website or even be fine without a website. Instead they can make up a sheet with all the information about their business on it and simply send it to people who may inquire about their services. This is free and easy.
It will take a lot of work and some time to really get a good business built up, but that is true even when spending money on it. It can seem like a lot of work to get started, but it is going to be work getting anything started. It is important not to build it up so big that it seems impossible because it really is possible. One of the biggest challenges in any type of work at home environment is just getting things started and many times people think that means spending a lot of money. The important point to remember is that money can not buy success and that it is not even needed to get started.
Starting a home business for nothing may seem like a dream, but it really is a reality. It does not take a lot of advertising or even a lot of work to get started. With service businesses it can be simple because a person may only need a few clients to make a good profit and earn what they need. That is why there is no need for major advertising campaigns and the frills of a website. Anyone can start a home business without any money.

The Challenges of Being your Own Boss
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Being your own boss is a great experience. It is liberating and it seems like a dream come true for many people. However, being your own boss is also a lot of responsibility and something that some people may struggle with. It takes a special person to be able to stay motivated and focused enough to be their own boss. Fortunately, almost anyone can learn how to be their own boss just by understanding the challenges of the job.
Meeting deadlines and getting things done is something that the average worker simply does or they know they will be fired. In the work at home environment, though, those rules can sometimes be laxed. There may not be someone right there saying things need to get done. Clients may not be pushy, but that doesn’t mean they are not noticing the lack of professionalism. Being your own boss means being responsible and meeting deadlines. This requires a good schedule and being able to focus and stay on task.
It can be hard to not let the independence of the situation take over. A person may just be so happy that they can do what they want that often they can forget about the work part of working at home. This is where problems happen. Having a good schedule can really help to prevent problems with too much independence.
Another problem is that finding a work at home job can sometimes be difficult. It can take time and it is important for a person to not get too frustrated or let the stress get to them. They should stay focused and keep at it. Being professional in all dealings will really go a long way to helping a person secure a work at home position. Persistence is key. A person needs to keep applying and soon they will find the work at home position that works best for them. It doesn’t hurt to also network and learn more about all the opportunities out there. Focusing too much on a specific type of job can be a problem, too.
Many people are not used to having to sell themselves. In the traditional working environment most people are chosen for a job on the criteria of whether or not they can do the job. In the work at home environment, though, employers want to know they are capable of doing the job and capable of working at home. This involves a person having to sell themselves to the employer so they know they can get the job done.
Working at home and being your own boss is a challenge. If it was easy then everyone would be doing it. That is why only some people can make working at home work for them. It is not something for everyone. Being your own boss means being responsible, staying focus, being persuasive and being committed. There really is no room for slacking because that will only cause problems. Being your own boss can be a very rewarding experience, but at the same time it requires a strong will and drive to get those rewards.

Master the Search Engines for Home Business Success
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
In the online business environment knowing about and understanding search engines is important. Search engines can make or break a business. A home business owner has to be current on the trends and the ways that search engines work in order to stay on top of their business and keep customers coming to their website.
Search engines are the tools that get people to websites. They basically rule the internet. Without search engines there would be no organization and no paths to anywhere. The internet would be a mess. However, search engines have faced challenges and they have had to come up with ways to provide people with good information. This has led to some strictness from the search engines and rules that business owners need to know.
In the past search engines ranked websites through keyword use. It was not long, though, before website owners found ways to misuse that. People who would do searches were ending up with junk websites at the top of their search results and it was difficult to actually find anything useful. The search engines acted fast, though, and soon it become a combination of factors that the search engines now use to rank websites.
Here are the three top things used by search engines to rank websites:
Keywords: Keywords are still important. It is impossible to get rid of them because keywords are how searches are done and they have to be a part of the search engine rankings for organizational purposes. However, they are not given as much weight as they once were and only make up a small part of how a website is ranked.
Content: Now the big factor in search engine ranking is content. Content works well as a factor for ranking websites because it is hard to use junk and it is something that takes time to install onto a website. The criteria for content is that it must be useful, relevant and unique. People can not simply copy content from elsewhere around the web and assume that will work. The search engines are pretty smart about content and that is why it carries the majority of the weight when it comes to search engine ranking.
Links: Using links to and from a website that is ranked high on a search engine will make that website higher ranked as well. Search engines consider this because it is a popularity factor. It lets the search engines see who other website owners are happy being associated with. It is a good idea of what sites are quality and which ones may not be quite so good.
These three factors come together to make search engines more efficient and effective. People still rely a lot on search engines and now can trust in them to give them quality results. What all this means for the home business owner is that by utilizing this information to build a business website, it will help the business owner to get their website to the top of the search engine rankings.

The Keys to Advertising that Works for Home Business
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Advertising is a large part of a successful online business. Being able to advertise and draw in business is the core of success. Choosing the right advertising is important. There are things a person can do when it comes to advertising that may work for some businesses, but that does not work for theirs. Understanding how to target advertise is incredibly important in an online home business.
Target market is a term that a person will hear a lot in business. The idea of a target market is that a product will not always sell to everyone. For example, baby diapers are not going to sell to children. The best people to market to for baby diapers would be moms because it has been shown they are the most likely to buy them. So, a target market is basically, the group of people who is most likely to buy a product.
Figuring out the target market for some products will be simple, but it can be challenging for other products. A person may have to do some research and look through their customer records to determine what their target market is. However, the work is all worth it because once the target market is identified, the target advertising can begin.
Target advertising involves specific advertising to the target market. The target market will have certain places they frequent which make the perfect places to place advertising. They will also have a certain style that can be used to design the advertising. Knowing the target market makes advertising so much easier and more effective.
Another aspect of advertising effectively is to understand competition. Competition is any business that sells the same or similar products or services. This is important because there are also businesses out there that are complementary businesses. These businesses sell products or services that are not going to compete with your business, but actually complement your business. They may sell a product that works with your product or they may sell to your target market. It is a great idea to hook up with a complementing business when advertising.
The idea of a target market and complementing business can really take marketing efforts to a whole new level. Marketing efforts can be streamlined. Costs for marketing will go down and the effectiveness will really skyrocket. It is trick of marketing that many people do not understand, so understanding it can mean a lot of success for the home business owner.
For a business owner to take advantage of these concepts they should start by identifying their target market and complementing businesses. Then they can begin to contact the other businesses and develop advertising that works for their target market.
This is a great insider tip on marketing that many home business owners never end up knowing. It is something that can really help a business go from something small to something amazing. Every home business owner should understand these two key concepts in order to make their home business a success.

Why Affiliate Programs are so Popular
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
In the search for a work at home job or a home business, a person is going to run into something called affiliate programs. Affiliate programs are very popular and they can also be a very profitable and successful choice. Understanding them is important though, before getting involved with one.
One of the first things a person needs to know about affiliate programs is the difference between them and a pyramid scheme. The two are very familiar, but there is a key difference. The difference is that with an affiliate program there are products or services being sold. In a pyramid scheme no products or services are sold. The reason these two can be confused is that both involve recruiting others in order to earn income. However, with an affiliate program recruiting is only part of the income. Selling products is another way to earn income and recruiting others is not even mandatory to earning money.
The basic idea of an affiliate program is that it starts with a company that is selling something. This company decides to find people who will sell their products or services for them. The company recruits these people, called affiliates, to sell their products and earn a commission for each product they sell. Usually the company will supply the affiliate with a website and all the tools they need to get started. The affiliate’s job then becomes advertising their website and selling the products from their website so they earn a commission.
In addition to selling the products or services, an affiliate is encouraged to get others to sign up for the program. When an affiliate gets others to sign up for the program they then earn money on that affiliates sales. When those new affiliates’ sign up people, the original affiliate earns money from them too. It keeps going like that so that a person can earn money on people who sign up many levels beneath them. This is the real money making area of an affiliate program, however, the bottom line is that if nobody sells anything then no money is made. A person cannot earn money simply by signing up people if nobody is selling anything.
Affiliate programs are so popular because they are easy to get into. Most companies have well established programs that make getting started simple. Additionally, the earning potential is quite huge if a person really puts effort into sales and recruiting new affiliates. With an affiliate program a person is really in control of how much they earn. It is a great idea for someone who is interested in a home business without all the start up work.
The keys to being really successful with an affiliate program are to choose the program wisely and then use it wisely. This means choosing to be part of an affiliate program with good products and a good reputation. It also means selling products and recruiting with effort given to each. Affiliate programs may be the thing you are looking for when it comes to a home business that is going to be inexpensive to start up and has a very good success potential.

Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
If you take a short fifteen minutes to search home business opportunities you can find the opportunity that you have been waiting for at your finger tips. A few minutes of searching the Internet can find you the job of your dreams and create a rewarding experience. Think about the amount of time that the average American spends searching the Internet with or without a purpose. There are even those with Internet addictions who cannot refrain from using the Internet. Why waste your time on the Internet when you can put this time to good use and find your future career?
There are so many opportunities for those looking to work from home that it can take your breath away. The first time that you search home businesses online you will be amazed at how many choices there really are. There are jobs that you can perform from your computer alone or positions that can allow you to work in your home with some outside work. This allows for every personal need to be met. You can build items in your home if you need something more physical or you can simply run an advertisement website if you are looking for something more low key. The choices are available for the taking.
Many people are intimidated by the thought of working from home. They see it as a dream, as something that is unattainable. This is the wrong impression that people have about running a home business. You can still be an employee of a company or you can be a sub contractor underneath an employer. This means you fulfill tasks that are given to you such as you would an outside job. The difference is that you have to motivate yourself to complete tasks or projects on time in a satisfactory manner instead of having a supervisor hover over you. The many jobs that are available through online positions do not carry a need for a college education or job experience. This is another area that prevents many people from pursuing an Internet job or home business opportunity.
If in the vent that you have found a position that you are interested in and you find that you do not meet the qualification than change that. Find out what you need to know and learn it. There have been hundreds of self educated Americans who have become successful throughout history. Take this as an inspiration and go out and learn through free courses at a local library or study through the use of books at your local library. You can teach yourself many great things through free resources and some drive.
You shouldn’t allow anything to stand in your way when it comes to a dream or desire. You deserve to find a career that creates great happiness and satisfaction in your life. As far as we know as human beings there is only one life to live. We should enjoy it to the fullest and in order to do so this includes a satisfying career. We spend the majority of our lives working from the time that we are teens up past the age of retirement. Why should we allow ourselves to spend these years in a job that makes us unhappy? Take the time to search and find the home business opportunity that suits you as it will be very rewarding for years to come.

2. Make your web site load much faster by cutting down on banner ads and start using more buttons. Button ads are also smaller and take up less space.
3. Offer free advertising space to well known and respected companies on your web site. Sometimes people link their business credibility to yours.
4. People have been taught all their life to respect people in authority. Tell your visitors that you are the president or CEO of your business.
5. Offer people a free telephone consultation before they order your product. When they get to know you personally, it could convert to more sales.
6. Test the "bill me later option" on your web site. Most people are honest and will pay you. It is a powerful little niche and could increase your sales.
7. Find a charity your target audience would likely support. Tell people on your ad copy that you will give a percentage of the profits to that charity.
8. Hold a "buy the most wins contest" on your website. Tell people each monthly winner will get their entire purchase refunded.
9. Attract visitors to your web site by offering them a free course. You could package the course on a follow-up autoresponder and send lessons daily.
10. Interview people related to your industry and get their legal permission to convert it to an article. Promote your web site by submitting it to ezines.
Quote of the Day:
"It doesn't make any difference whether what you face is something that affects your work, your personal relationships, your sense of security, your appraisal of self-worth, or your appearance--the way you think about your situation largely determines whether you will do anything about it and what you will do." -- Dr. Arthur Freeman

The Five W’s To Making Your Home Business Choice
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Do you remember back in elementary English class, of your teacher telling you about the five W’s: who, what, why, where and when? These same words can be useful in assisting you in finding which area of business you want to pursue and what is needed to begin your business. Following these simple tips provided here can make the home business journey much smoother and less complicated.
Why
You first have to know why you want to pursue a home business. Is it simply about money? Do you want to make more money, direct your income towards yourself with no outside payments (employer)? Perhaps you are looking for more personal freedom for more time with family or friends. Are you unable to commute to work due to illness or other disabling effects? These questions can aid you towards a greater knowledge of what is your driving force in this career choice. You do not simply jump across a gorge to simply jump. You often have to get to the other side. Understanding why you are looking to work from home creates focus.
Where
This area of questioning may sound silly as you are looking to work from home, but do you plan to travel to customers for any area of your business. Do you plan to set up a specific radius to meet or serve customers in? Do you want to reach a worldwide audience? This is all-important in setting up your business.
Who
Who are your products or services for? Children, men, women, families, businesses are all possible target audiences. You have to ask who, so that you can do research on your audience in your location. Is there a large base of your target audience in a remote, general or worldwide location? This is key in marketing and sales.
Which
Which area of business interests you the most? Do you enjoy creating a product by hand or is it the actual sales of the product? There are areas of business that are enjoyable and that is where you will bloom. There are also areas that can create struggle and understanding your strengths and weaknesses can help you to prepare for the good and bad of home business.
What
What type of business do you want to be a part of? Do you want to sell homemade toys or do you want to offer a product that is manufactured elsewhere? Do you want to offer services such as tutoring or sewing and alterations services? Narrow down your choices and find what you truly want to do within your home business.
These five areas are simple, but make a big impact on your business set up. The answers guide you to make the most suitable business choices that will end in satisfaction as well as success. If you simply say that you want to sell pet supplies online and you don’t even like or own pets, how satisfied will you be doing this each and everyday? When you make a change to a home business you have to ensure that there is a drive, a goal and an enjoyment that will make this choice worthwhile and long lasting.

Designing the best Website for your Home Business
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
There is a lot of information about how to build a good business website out there. There are a lot of tips and tricks on how to build a website without needing a programmer or hiring a professional. All of these technical tips and little pieces of advice often overlook the big picture and end up making the home business owner micromanage the small details. While this is nice and will actually be good for the business it is not the only advice a person needs to hear in order to build a good business website.
There are three key points to building a good business website. These three points can easily be lost in the technical aspect of building a website. They are very important, though, to the user. When building a website keeping the user in mind is important, especially when building a business website where the user is key to success.
The three points are as follows:
Point #1
Make it easy to use.
A website should be easy to use. A visitor should be able to navigate the site without hassle. This means they do not need to be bombarded with pop up ads or have to search for anything. Everything needs to right there for them and they should be able to easily see how shopping and checking out works.
Point #2
It should be informative.
Online users are now used to websites that are informative and actually offer them something. Most people will simply leave a website if they can not get information from it. People are spoiled, but that doesn’t matter. A website needs a section with a blog or articles that allow the user to get useful information.
Point #3
It should be clear and simple.
This goes along with being easy to use. A website should not be cluttered or difficult to figure out. People are not going to work to get to anything on a website. If they can not figure it out then they will leave. Menus should be clear and every aspect of the shopping experience should be clear.
In order to ensure a website meets these three points a business owner should try it out before going live. They should go through the website and make sure it is not confusing or there is too much on any page. It is also a good idea to put up a survey that allows visitors to say what they do and do not like about the site.
Making sure these three points are covered will really help to make a website a success. It can be a big boost for a home business, as well. People want a good experience and a good experience includes a website that is easy to use, informative and clear. This is all something that can be worked into the final steps of building a website. Once the technical things are handled the focus can shift to making it user friendly and making it a website that people are going to want to visit.

A New Business Taking Care Of Business
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Every business needs business cards, whether they want them or not, they are almost a necessity for everyone hoping to attract new business. While there are many online companies that offer business cards cheap, or free, they may not provide the message the customer hopes to convey. Additionally, many of the free cards include your information on one side and a pitch for the company that provided the free cards on the other side.
With inexpensive software available, in a few hours time, you can be adept at creating quality looking business cards for any type of business. Working with a local printer, you can offer to create business cards for business owners and even arrange to have them printed for them. This reduces the amount of down time they would have to spend in going to the printer, designing the cards and then picking them up when they are done. Saving them time is the same as saving them money and they are usually willing to share that savings.
Here’s thought to seriously consider. The last time you replaced your old cell phone, how long did it take to transfer all the contact phone numbers? As a business owner do you have the time to sort through all the numbers in your phone and enter them into the new one? Probably not. Even if you get started, there will come a time when you just quit and leave out many numbers that you really should have entered.
Offering your services to do this mundane task may be welcome business opportunity not specific to businesses. Individuals may also be more willing to pay to have their phone numbers transferred than take the time to do it themselves. This type of service may also be used for transferring information for personal data systems or even teaching people how to use their new unit.
While transferring pictures to videotape businesses have been around for years, new businesses also offer taking all those old videotapes and putting them onto digital video disks to play back through your DVD player. Some even offer to add music to back them up and some editing may also be offered.
With the proliferation of digital media, very few people listen to cassette tapes anymore and many new cars lack cassette players. There is need for businesses that can transfer music from cassettes or even the old eight-track players onto CDs. This gives the music lover their old music without having to buy all new CDs. For the really old music, with the right equipment you can transfer music from the old vinyl records onto compact disks, which can be played in the car. It is tough to find a record player these days, but CD players are everywhere.

Staying Organized In Your Home Office
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Nothing makes working from a home office more frustrating than not being able to find anything when you need it. While most business owners see themselves as being busy all the time, some of your time has to be spent in staying organized. If not daily, at least once a week you have to set aside time to put everything in its place. Most mechanics have a rule that there is a place for everything and everything needs to be in its place.
Many people have to find the time to do things over, but seldom have the time to do it right the first time. Usually because they can’t find a file, they will have to recreate it, which will take a lot more time than the five seconds it might have taken to put it in its right place to begin with. Being able to find the staples when your stapler runs out can save a precious few minutes you will spend going through the desk drawers, or worse going to the store to buy more, knowing you have a new box somewhere in the office.
The amount of office supplies you maintain in the home office will depend on the business as well as your budget. Regardless, don’t let your desk become a storage area for your supplies. Use an old dresser of bookcase on which to keep your office supplies, while keeping only a small stash on your desk or in the desk drawers. When you put supplies in a storage area, make sure the tags are visible for easy identification.
To keep your office running smooth, consider your desk the focal point of the office. All of the equipment that is frequently used needs to be within easy reach of your desk chair. If you have to get up every few minutes to answer the phone, grab a fax or check the printer, you are wasting several precious minutes everyday reaching for things. Files that you are currently working on should be in easy reach, whether in a file cabinet next to your desk or in an upright file holder on your desk or adjacent table.
Ideally, you can pull all the files you intend to conquer that day and have them ready to work on at any time during the day. Files you are not going to touch should be put in their proper place so they can be easily found when they are needed.
While it may seem easier, especially for caffeine addicts to have their coffee pot near their desk, it is a bad idea overall. First, too much coffee can be bad for the health as well as a contributing factor to extra bathroom breaks. However, the primary reason is the potential for a damaging coffee spill by drinking coffee at your desk. Everyone needs to take a break from their work periodically, and having the coffee pot in a separate room can force you to take a few minutes to clear your head.

Put Your Talents To Work For You
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
For many different reasons people find themselves out of work, whether by layoff, termination or retirement. Looking for another job in a tight job market can be an exercise in futility and many times, you may just want a part-time job to help fill in the gaps of time. Why not take what you learned over the years and offer your services as a freelancer?
Whether it is writing, designing or consulting, there is a growing base of companies that need help, but cannot afford to hire a full-time person. They also may not need full-time help and can use an extra hand, or mind, during seasonal explosions in business. Retired executives are in demand as management consultants to help fledgling businesses learn from professionals who have been there and done that.
If you give it enough thought, there will be hidden talents that you used in your previous jobs that can be beneficial to another company, even if on a limited basis. This can be especially helpful for someone who recently retired and may just want a reason to get out of house. Or, if it’s raining and they can’t play golf.
Previous retail managers, for example may be able to help with store sets or with inventory control. Depending on their strengths in their previous work history, they can put those strengths as a consultant to new retailers. Small operations tend to shoot from the hip when looking at their product mix and an experienced operations or merchandising manager can offer them help to improve per-visit sales by their customers. Not everyone who owns or operates a retail outlet, or even an internet store, has the marketing savvy needed to increase customer sales.
Getting customers into the store can be another possibility for a former ad executive, or even someone who works in the advertising department of the local newspaper. If you have experience designing prints ads, many companies may be able to use your experience on a contact basis. When they need a new ad, you can put it together for them, get paid for your work and move on to the next contract customer.
In the age of the internet, freelance writers are always in demand to produce crisp, clean copy for web sites and sales letters for online retailers. Persons with a graphics background may be able to pick up a little extra work designing web sites, and even more if they understand the language to get them on the internet.
Everyone develops experience of some sort when they work and taking stock of your experience asset can be a plus in finding work, or even starting your own home-based business.

Plans For A Home Business Should Be Kept Simple
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Businesses can carry complications within the internal workings. Because of this you should keep plans for a home business as simple as possible. Choose a business that is not overly complex. Choose a business area that you already have knowledge or skills in. Taking a hobby or past time and creating a home business from that is one easy way to begin on the path to a simple home business. An example of this is a person who can knit hats, gloves, scarves and so on and sell those items for a profit. This person is also likely to already have materials, tools and other business needs on hand. This is keeping your home business simple and easy.
On Hands Equipment
As in the example above you should try to use tools and other items that you already have on hand. Computers, phone lines, copiers, fax machines, sewing machines, childcare equipment and so on. Take a look around your home for inspiration. In the time that it takes for you to do a walk through of your home you may find this is all of the time it will take to know which direction you will go to pursue your home business. By doing so you are already calculating what items you need to buy and how much funding it may require to do so. Completing two tasks at one time is keeping business simple.
Prepared Workspace
Using a workspace that is readily available for you to begin working in is another way to keep your home business easy. A home office can be used for data entry positions or accounting services. A basement or garage can be used to perform woodworking or pottery sculpting. Your living room can be used to relaxingly knit clothing or your sewing room for quilting sellable items. Using a space that is already prepared for your business can shave off preparation time and save money as well.
Recap On Guides To Keeping Home Business Simple
* Use skills, hobbies and personal knowledge to begin your business planning around.
* Use tools, resources and equipment that are already in your possession to apply towards your business.
* Use a workspace that is already suited to your business needs, such as a home office, garage or basement.
Overall Reasoning Behind Simple Planning
Using any and everything that you already have is the best way to keep a home business simple. There are already areas of concern such as finances, marketing and advertising that you will be spending time and effort to correct. This allows you to focus on the areas that truly need it instead of focusing on every little area of concern that pops up. This also allows you to keep time open for personal time.

Do Not Let Search Engines Blacklist Your Network Marketing Product Site!
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Which Internet marketer has not heard the horror stories of the multi level marketing (MLM) newbie who struck out for her- or himself without much help from an up line and probably also by disregarding each and every ounce of good advice offered by many a website and tutorial and instead built a website advertising the product or service for sale? Yet to the fledgling marketer’s surprise, no hits are being registered and in spite of tweaking and pruning the site every which way from Sunday, the traffic is still only trickling in, most of it being accidental rather than targeted. The sad reality is simple: unbeknownst to the new network marketer, the lovingly crafted site she or he spent so much time working on was blacklisted! Do not let search engines blacklist your network marketing product site!
Granted, the fledgling marketer from the example above probably was not quite as pure as the driven snow and instead may have engaged, wittingly or unwittingly, in some rather shady online practices which most major search engines will view as an immediate reason to blacklist the site. Here are some examples:
* Perhaps the most egregious offense is the use of irrelevant keywords within the website’s metatags or even within the body of the site just to generate more hits. Thus, if you are working on promoting a network marketing product related to wellness, the inclusion of several highly searched key terms, such as cancer, heart attack, stroke, and various other ailments will get you blacklisted, especially if the wellness product is not at all tangentially related to any of these conditions.
* Submitting a website manually or automatically time and again to the same search engine is considered spamming. In the past it was done to ensure a higher ranking of the site, but with the modernization of the process, search engines are very sensitive to being spammed. Do it one too many times and your site will no longer be included in the search results.
* Beware the lure of the mirror site. Once again, this methodology is a blast from the past when it was thought to guarantee a higher ranking within the search engine’s ranking hierarchy. Yet with the advent of optimization procedures, mirror sites are considered to be a relic of the past and those who continue to utilize the technology that in the past allowed them to submit the exactly identical site with a different URL to a search engine will find that neither web address will be accepted.
There are a number of other tips, tricks, and schemes employed by those who design websites for their network marketing product. Do not fall for the lure of easy rankings at the expense of the integrity of your site. It is not just the search engine robots that catch on to your shenanigans, but it is also a more and more technologically astute populace that will realize your ploy and thus you will instantly lose a massive dose of credibility. This, in the Internet marketing business, is the death knell which must be avoided at all costs!

Making Decision To Start Full Or Part Time
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Whenever a person is looking at starting their own business, money and time are two areas that can make the decision a tough choice. On the one hand, leaving the current job is more than a leap of faith in their own abilities and the viability of their business plan is also a high gamble on the finances of their family. Unless there is already a waiting list for their product or services, it can take some time before the income from the new venture is enough to meet all of their business and personal expenses.
Most people who start a new business pour the majority of their money back into the business and usually only pay themselves as much as they need to get by. Unfortunately, for many new businesses there may not be enough initial income to meet all of their personal obligations as well as business expenses. Even if the business is located inside the home, there will still be money needed for many areas of its operation.
It really comes down to a simple question of whether to hang onto their old job and start the new on a part-time basis or, if they have sufficient savings to make the full-time plunge. Understanding that if they decide to pursuer the avenue of a full-time business, their savings is not going to last forever and at some point they may have to find another job to support their family if the business does not begin to progress as planned.
Depending on the type of business being started, it may not be possible to begin part-time, and some service industry businesses will need to be available on a regular schedule. However, that does not mean it cannot be started part-time, with the new owner making contacts to look for their first customer. A common mistake among new business owners is having no idea where their first customer will come from and once they do have their first client, how to translate that into referrals for more work.
One advantage some new service industry businesses may have is being able to offer the services during hours traditionally not met by existing businesses. Companies that work during the day may charge a premium for their services if they have to be performed after traditional hours. A person working in the industry full-time may be able to add customers who also work during the day and need the services performed in the evening. This can be an availability niche to help get a new business off the ground.
Starting the business on a part-time schedule is going to be a two-edged sword in that the owner will be putting in extra hours working in the odd hours. However, if they dedicate the income to the business and continue meeting personal expenses from their day job, they will be able to eventually make the switch to working in their business on a full-time basis, allowing it to grow to meet their financial needs.

Website Template: The Face of the Online Business
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
When it comes to the online business’ appearance, the web template projects an image that conveys a unique representation that professionals associate as the ‘face’ of the business. Without this, the online venture has absolutely no sense of identity and will not gain any success. For these reasons, the web template is crucially important.
As a matter of fact, shoppers rely on the appearance to help them make decisions about what to buy, where, when, why. This is why merchandise and services being offered by the online business are not worth a lick of spit without an effect facing to draw the surfers in. If a company doesn’t look appealing, the merchandise means nothing.
Furthermore, logos and company mottos add accent to this appearance. Like signs on the building of a brick-and-mortar building, the web template, or home page, advertises the identity, distinct character and sense of professionalism that the company or business embodies. This is equivalent of the “business sign,” and its design requires quite a bit of forethought. Whatever the business is, that essence is found here.
Styles of web templates are available in a variety of colors and arrangements. The preferences of the designer and/or particular entrepreneur decide are catered to very easily. For one thing, website construction is quicker and faster with the employment of the template, as opposed to creating a template oneself. Professional organization is promoted, and modifications in that sense of organization can be made in accordance with the the needs of the business, so flexibility and customization are maintained with the template as well. This is the ultimate convenience!
Pattern consistency is yet another possibility. A single web template can be used as the layout for every single page comprising the business sites. Each page would be easier to construct because it would be in sync with every other page. Variations in style and accent create bursts of uniqueness in this consistency. As far as design goes, the sky is the limit, as is, as said, the preferences of the designer and/or entrepreneur.
The cost, however, can be a stickler, especially for the new business owner who has a limited budget. The typical webpage template runs anywhere from around $50.00 to $300.00, depending on the designer and distributor. Here, when budget comes into play, a single template would be preferable over a different template for each webpage. Where webpage organization can be adjusted accordingly, using separate templates is a really unnecessary practice anyway.
Then there is the consideration of designer fees for those entrepreneurs who hire professionals to design and build their sites for them. This, of course, is more likely for those web owners who haven’t the knowledge or the skills to do their own web design. As far as budgets go, newcomers might benefit from learning webpage construction, with the inclusion of hyperlink languages, especially HTML, to save them some money. Regardless, though, expenses should be carefully moderated.
Whatever one’s needs dictate, the template is generally the wise way to go. How it will be used is the challenge.

Making A Home Office Without A Home Office
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
Many people like to work from home, and if you are interested in doing so you know that it is going to be very important that you find a place where you can spend your work day without feeling like you are still at home. There are lots of ways that you can have a home office. Some people are lucky enough to have an extra room that they can use for their home office, but most people do not have that luxury. If you don't have a home office, you might be able to still feel like you do, and still get as much done as you would be able to get done in a home office.
The first thing that you are going to need is the space. You want to be sure that you have enough space for your home office, and it might be that you have to make space. However, depending on what you want to be doing in your home office, you might not need that much room. If you are able to, you can even set up a desk or a tray table in a corner of the living room, and work from there. Think about basements too, you might be able to work in your basement and it might end up being exactly what you are looking for.
Remember that an office space doesn't have to be huge, and it doesn't have to be the only place in your house that isn't used for anything else. There just has to be some way that you can distinguish when you are at your office from any other time. For instance, some people use a roll top desk in their dining room. When the desk is open and the computer is on, this means that it is work time. When they are done with work they can turn off the computer and close the desk, which means that the work day is over and they can stop worrying about it. This is something that many people use if they are doing their work in a room that is used for anything else. Remember that this is all something that you can do without making a big deal of it, or without worrying that you will be unable to do your work.
There are other things that you can do. Consider buying a room divider, which will turn any room in your house into two rooms. You can use one for your office and you will not have to worry about not having the space. You can also be able to do this so you don't have to worry about your home office being as neat as any other room in your house.
The only requirement is that you some how find a way to separate your home office from the other rooms in your house. This is something that you have to be sure that you do so that you can work successfully.

Using the Internet to Earn Residual Income
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
For the savvy Internet entrepreneur, there has never been a more profitable time to be in business. Making money online in some ways is like shooting fish in a barrel and the fact that anyone can take hold of one of the many business opportunities offered – whether they have a lot of business experience or next to none – and with little or no investment build a small business empire is the stuff of e-zines and e-books.
To many, residual income is the name of the game and using the Internet to earn residual income is surprisingly simple. For example, you already own and operate an online business, you will find that tapping into one of the many available affiliate programs is a surefire way of creating a separate revenue stream that requires next to no work on your part and complements the business you are already running. Becoming an affiliate is easy to do, usually free of charge, and there is little more required than placing a merchant’s link onto your website.
When a consumer visits the merchant via your link and makes a purchase, you earn money. If you are very successful, you will find that before long you will qualify to receive payment not only for the sales made through your website link but you may also receive the option to sign up for a program that will remunerate you for the visitors you send to the merchant’s website.
If you are just starting out online and do not already operate an established business, remember that patience is a virtue, and anyone who tells you that you can get rich overnight on the Net is lying to you. Driving traffic to your website is a gradual process – if you do it right – and not a feast or famine kind of activity. Spend time, effort, and perhaps even some money in making sure that the search engines like your site and then make it user friendly.
Those in the know have found that the best way to consistently make money off the Internet is to create a number of separate revenue streams that will always be ongoing. Remember that small streams will eventually combine to make a raging river and just because in and of itself an income opportunity might look modest, when combined with your other income generating methods of making money you stand the chance of making a decent living online.
Join desirable and reputable affiliate programs and keep an eye to cultivating long term relationships with these vendors rather than hopping from merchant to merchant in an effort to ride the latest fad. Consistency pays off with residual income, while short term linkage can only produce short term income, which is extremely limiting.
As the money begins to pour in, consider reinvesting it in your online efforts and increasing the strength of your web presence to eventually commandeer a larger portion of the daily visitor numbers that are found on the World Wide Web. You may consider doing so with your own personal store front and thus adding products as well as affiliate networking to your income portfolio.
The following are a list of proven, legitimate Home Business Opportunities that can get you started to earning your own residual income:

Why Internet Marketing Is Big & Why It’s Getting Bigger
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
There are a number of different reasons as to why internet marketing is a fantastic thing, but there is really only one reason as to why it has become so big in the last couple of years. More and more people are starting to buy their goods online. In the days of the dot com boom that happened in the late 1990s, the reason for the boom was not that people were buying stuff online, but it had more to do with the idea of informational exchange had gotten to a level never seen before and that increased traffic and therefore increased the amount of money that was put into the internet.
Nowadays however, the dot com boom round two is quite a bit healthier because rather than the creation of a gigantic bubble that is really not based on anything more than high demand and low supply, both the supply and demand sides of the equation are at an all time high. Not only are people purchasing things off the internet, but they are looking for information on the internet and they are looking for a way to make their living in some cases off the internet. All of this results in a much higher daily use average on the part of a person in a country with internet infrastructure developed and that ultimately means that internet marketing is becoming bigger and bigger everyday as people are getting the chance through internet marketing to reach higher and higher audiences all of the time.
However, while this is the one and only reason for the initial boom in internet marketing, there have been other reasons to come along in the interim to increase the importance of internet marketing to the average online businessperson. One of the ways in which this has been seen has to do with the spending rates that companies can use in order to get results online. These rates are a fraction of what they would be in the offline world as with so much choice in advertising, a person technically does not even have to pay anything if they do not want to and advertise for free using a number of different methods. Both the overall and per capita rates of advertising online are cheaper than offline and this is allowing a number of businesses into the game that previously did not have the ability to do anything.
Finally, the prospects of the future for internet marketing is another thing driving its constant increase as the prospects are looking a lot better than they did during the first dot com boom. The future is bright because of the increasing numbers of people using the internet every day and it is bright because of the fact that more and more companies are getting involved. With both supply and demand growing with each passing day, the second dot com boom has a much healthier economy and that news in and of itself is enough to spur more investment into internet marketing.

What is Yuwie?
Copyright © Grace Lee
http://www.CashProduction.org
If you enjoy Myspace, Facebook, Bebo, VoxPop, Friendster, Xanga and any other social networking site then you will love Yuwie.
Yuwie is one of the Internet’s newest social networking sites. BUT, what makes Yuwie so different from these other social networks mentioned?
Yuwie will PAY you to do what you are already doing on those other sites! Get paid to create and write in a blog, get paid to make friends, get paid to upload photos, get paid for page views, get paid to join clubs, get paid to even create your own clubs! Get paid for everything you do on Yuwie! Get the picture??? It is awesome!
Yuwie is also 100% FREE. Yes that’s right! Participation is FREE – no sign-up fees or subscription fees are required ever!
How does it work?
Yuwie takes the revenue they make from advertisers and then pays a percentage of that back to their users via paypal or mailing them a check.
There are two ways to earn money from Yuwie:
Page views
When anyone views any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view for you:
Your profile page
Your blog pages
View all your friends
View all your comments
Your picture pages
If someone views one of your shared layouts
When you view any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view.
Any of your control panel pages, including but not limited to: settings, messaging, friends, referrals, favourites, etc.
The best way to get more page views is to add more content to your profile, leave comments for friends, upload more pictures, and maintain an active blog. All of this activity will cause more people to view more pages on your profile. Remember, the more fun you have, the more pages get viewed and the more money you can make.
Referrals
Getting referrals is the key to making more money with Yuwie.
The chart below assumes you refer 3 people, and those 3 people refer 3, then those refer 3, through 10 levels, and each referral gets 1000 page views for the month, and the month's RSR is $0.50.
Results are not guaranteed. This is just an example of what could happen.
Many people are still not aware about Yuwie so get out there and start advertising!
You can sign up for traffic sites to get your referral link out there, or use programs where you can buy referrals.
Use Yuwie to promote your other sites
Yuwie has tons of clubs, some of which promote other money making sites. You can also use your blog on Yuwie to talk about your products and/or programs and add links to where people can join them.
You can add banners to your site, send messages to friends telling them about your programs and even buy an ad to run on Yuwie itself.
With Yuwie, you can do it all!

4. Include an article or review that has been written about you or your business with your ad copy. This will show people that your business is respected and will increase your credibility.
5. When you offer free bonuses in your ad copy, also list the dollar value beside each bonus. People will feel they're getting a good deal and it will increase the value of your product.
6. Hire a famous person to endorse your product or service. Make sure the person is well known to your target audience. Include their picture and statements on your ad copy.
7. Include your own picture on your ad copy. This will show people that you're not hiding behind your ad copy and will increase their trust. Also, include your contact information below the picture and a brief statement or quote.
8. Tell your potential customers on your ad copy that you will donate a percentage of their purchase price to a specific charity. This will show them you really care about the people. They may just buy your product to donate to the charity.
9. Ask your potential customers plenty of yes and no questions in your ad copy. The questions should remind them of their problem and make them think about what will happen if they don't purchase your product.
10. Tell your potential customers they will receive a free prize if they find the five words in your ad copy that are misspelled or spelled backwards. The longer you can keep someone reading your copy the greater chance of them purchasing.
